Today my little brother left to serve an LDS mission for two years in Neuquen, Argentina. It's not a real thing. I miss him already. His farewell was on sunday, and he did a gave such a good talk, and I made cute cakes.   Sometimes he teases me too much, plays video games when I want to watch a show, and writes gross statuses on my facebook when I leave it open.. But he also watches sponge bob with me, gets me drinks when he's in the kitchen, gives me free meals to cafe rio, and other marvelous things.  It'll be too sad not having him around. love that kid, see you in two.  xo, rach

Remember these pictures?  these ones, right here. Well I made that cute little hair piece I'm wearing, and I wanted to share. Materials: 3 shades of felt, yarn, hot glue, and scissors. First. cut out some little flower, circle, and leave shapes. Second. take your circles, and glue in half, and in half. Third. glue your folded circles to the middle of your flower, and your leaves to bottom. Fourth. thread your yarn close to the middle of the flower. p.s. i pulled my yarn apart, so it wasn't so thick. Fifth. I attached a bobby pin to each end of my string of flowers and put in my hair. (I found I had more control over how it laid, rather than putting it on elastic or something like that.) As always, I hope it all makes sense :) And I hope you like it. xo, rach

You know when you go through your day saying "Hey, I'm doing pretty good today" Then life says "Yeah, rach, think again.." Spring can't come fast enough. Utah winters are very, very cold. The snow is deep, and wind is chilly. And most days I can't feel my face. These days of late, have been busy, and full. The best friend was in Colorado with his family for about 3 weeks so we had Christmas the other day! He got me something pretty adorable, and I thought I'd share! a "drink", popcorn, some movies, candy and some movie reels to write quotes on, from our favorite movies! ohhh and this way fun camera keychain. it clicks and flashes.  it's great.  It was a happy late christmas. Hope this new year is treating you well. 

I found this gem on netflix? I'm obsessed. It's wonderful. Fred plays a high fashion photographer. Audrey is a book shop worker turned model.
